New Recessed luminaires
standard AS/NZS 60335.1/A3:2015 (Household and similar
electrical appliances Safety General Requirement) was published on
Nov.30, 2015.
After Nov.30, 2017 it
is anticipated that regulatory authorities will approve AS/NZS
60335.1:2011 + A1:2012 + A2:2014 + A3:2015 to be used in
conjunction with a Part 2.
The major update of
A3:2015 is added requirement to appliances with touchable
outlet (appliance outlet or socket-outlet; excluded USB:
