Reminder:The new
ProdSG has replaced the old GPSG.
This new law
requires that each product must be marked with the complete
contact address of the trader / importer.
A new development
is that market surveillance (and courts / judges / lawyers)
see this requirement more and more strictly.
Exceptions are
now only allowed where complete labelling is not possible,
e. g. because a product is too small. Example are G4 halogen
bulbs.
If an item
already has some printed marking, there is no excuse at all
to omit the street address.
